In 843 patients ages 2-17 years treated with ELIDEL Cream, 9 (0.8%) developed eczema herpeticum (5 on ELIDEL Cream alone and 4 on ELIDEL Cream used in sequence with corticosteroids). In 211 patients on vehicle alone, there were no cases of eczema herpeticum.
